Oh, the cover song. They are the bread and butter of bar bands, the plague of free form jazz festivals, and are YouTube gold due to superb levels quality or extreme gut busting hilarity.

Clay, and sketches, and puppets, oh my!

Last summer  I was at a pool party, and as the afternoon turned into the evening, we (under the influence of pizza and light beer) began talking about things that scared the hell out of us when we were kids.

While there were standard ghost stories, tales of haunted schools, and mythical suburban legends; we noticed an unnerving trend among the subjects of our discourse (Look, fancy words!).  A lot of things that terrified us are from seventies pop culture.  I’m not event talking about the stuff people would flip out about after getting high.
