Folk/Rock Act Madie Boyd signs with Quote Your Pulse Records

Madie Boyd is Matt Walker, a talent beyond his years. Hailing from Waterford, CA, the 17-year-old singer-songwriter has been making quite the name for himself in the Folk/Rock arena. Influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, Wilco, and Bon Iver, Madie Boyd’s debut “Renovations” will be released physically on Nov. 23, 2012 and digitally on Dec. 7, 2012 by Quote Your Pulse Records.

Having already shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the Central Valley, including not an Airplane, Travis Vick, and Micol Cazzell, Matt Walker is currently expanding his project into a full-band. Joined by Kyle Gendle (Word of Man) on bass and Jojo Jorgensen (ex-Indian Taker) on drums, Madie Boyd will make their debut as a full-band at the “Renovations” CD release show on Nov. 23rd at Off The Air in Modesto, CA with Cave Women and Cold Eskimo.

Moving forward, the band plans to record a full-length record on Quote Your Pulse Records in Spring 2013 and will follow it with a West Coast tour in Summer 2013 with fellow Central Valley act The Airlings.
